If you find the name La Creperie familiar, it is because there is one in Hong Kong as well located in the Wan Chai district as well. The Shanghai outlet is actually the first outlet of the franchise and I was here to give it a try before I go for the Hong Kong one.
The place was quite cozy and once you stepped into the resto, you can smell the wonderful aroma of the crepes all around. We just had dinner but the aroma made me all hungry again. Plus, it was dessert we are talking about, my second stomach was all set to kick start itself!
I started off with Dry Apple Cider which was nice. It you want something sweet, order the Sweet Apple Cider because this dry option was rather bland with hints of apple citrus only. A good start to cleanse your palate for the sweets coming up!
I ordered the Le Pecheur which consisted of Chocolate and Banana, plus sprinkles of almond flakes as well. The crêpe itself was thin yet chewy, perfect for an open top crêpe in my opinion. The chocolate sauce was a bit too sweet but together with the cream and banana in one bite, yummmmm!
My friend ordered the Caramelized Apple which was rather appetizing because of the citrus flavors. It was weird to eat both flavors so remember to stick to one or at least finish one before you order another one. Oh right, it would have been better to order a scoop of ice cream to go with it as well!
Likes:

- Dry Apple Cider very dry which I like it. If you want sweet version, order the Sweet Apple Cider.
Dislikes:
- Chocolate sauce a bit too sweet by itself
